With over $16 million in closed sales, an MBA and over 20 years experience in business development and marketing roles for Fortune 100 companies and entrepreneurial start-ups, I possess business, customer marketing and negotiation skills many of my peers in real estate don't have. This diverse experience enables me to provide sound financial advice whether to first-timers, move-up buyers, empty nesters, or investors needing to make critical ROI decisions. As my client, you will receive my undivided attention, whether I'm finding you that perfect new home or selling your current home. I am dedicated, responsive and will always listen intently to your concerns, goals and needs. These soft skills translate in creating and implementing efficient, focused home searches and strategic and compelling selling/marketing programs. Michael Kurowski began his career in real estate in 2009 after making a work/life balance decision which ultimately lead him to follow his passion in assisting others achieve their personal and family goals and dreams. Michael has an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree in marketing from the University of Colorado. He, his wife, Mary Jane, son Edward and West Highland terriers, Katie and McDuff, have lived in the Barrington area since moving from Colorado in 2000. Michael is an active volunteer with St. Anne Catholic Community as a Catechist and Minister of Care, coaches in Barrington Area Youth Sports programs, and is involved with his alma mater as Alumni President, University of Notre Dame Class of 1988. Michael is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Illinois Association of Realtors (IAR) and North Shore / Barrington Association of Realtors (NASBAR). He has earned professional certifications as a Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) and an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR). Michael has also completed extensive prerequisite coursework and the in-depth review necessary to achieve the Certified Senior Housing Professional (CSHP) designation. There aren't many Brokers educated and trained to best serve the distinct late-in-life transition needs of senior adults. Whether it's helping them to age-in-place, downsize or make a transition to an independent/assisted living community, it demands someone who is highly knowledgeable and who has assembled a qualified senior resource team. This person also needs to have the compassion and integrity to present all available options to assist seniors in making the best possible decision for their current and anticipated needs. Most importantly, it requires an individual who genuinely enjoys spending time with seniors. This role fits Michael well; he says, "When I think of those times I feel most fulfilled, it's been my moments as a Minister of Care bringing Eucharist to mostly home-bound seniors. I cherish their stories of legacy and also empathize with their struggles to maintain their dignity and independence." Please call me at 847.804.7350 or email me at MKurowski@JamesonSIR.com with any Real Estate related questions or needs. With over 828 offices in 61 countries, I am able to refer a local Broker from Sotheby's International Realty to assist in the purchase or sale of any property, whether residential, commercial, vacation (2nd), or investment.
